Every time when I write something I always confuse about when and where I have to Cite. After reading “warning: when you must cite” from Yale college writing centre I noticed some of the rules about citation. These all rules explain when and where we need to cite. Some of The rules are very common for me, but some are really new. For example, rules no 8 explain about “When you collaborate with others in producing knowledge” we must cite. It simply means, when we work together and share our ideas we must credit for each one. Before, I only thought who was must involve and spent much time, this person only get the credit, but I was wrong. I also applied these rules many times in my physics lab. In my physic lab, we are 3 people in my group. Every experiment in the lab we have to make a group report. This report we include everybody names, even sometime I spent much time on calculation part than my friends. Now I noticed that why we include all three-person name on the report. At the second part of the handout, I clicked MLA citation style. When we cite the source we have to follow the MLA format of a citation. This whole page was a lot of information about how to cite journal, newspaper article, magazine, books, website, blog, Internet videos, wikipedia, PowerPoint presentation. Another link that I read was "quoting and paraphrasing". After reading this page, I noticed when we use somebody ideas, even we write our own words we must provide the source. At the last link, I noticed how to introduce the author name in the essay. After reading this link, I found when we include author name we have to write only author last name, writing the author first name Is informal in academic writing.

Think loud strategy
It was a great experience for me to practice thinks - loud strategy in my writing. I always heard about the think loud strategy, but I never noticed how this help in our daily life. I think this strategy is not only help our reading and writing also helps in other subjects such as; solving math problems, science problem or even discussion with other people. In my experience, I noticed I think a lot then writing. When I was, starting writing a movie review about Priest. At first I had a lot of thought in my head. I want to write everything, but it was impossible write all thought at one time. Also, I noticed it was really hard to choose the write ideas or thought. The other thing that I noticed was my voice, which was really soft, but it was fun to hear my self. In this think loud experiment I never had a chance to correct my grammar and organize the sentence. I went to back word-by-word and correct them after finished the writing. Another thing was, when I wrote each sentence even word I stopped many times so that it took me a lot of time to complete the sentence. Here are the some of the pauses (stop) moment that I noticed in my audio file.
1) The movie was…
2) That did not make any sense……I am going erase this
3) Now I am confuse what should I have to say…
4) I think the most important part of this film was….
5) After this I forget what happened......
Also I noticed some of the interesting things in my audio recording;
I) My mind thinks a lot but I was not able to write everything.
II) I just wrote everything what come in my mind.
III) I never worried about grammar, punctuations, and words choosing even organizing my context during my writing time.
IV) The way of my thinking was affected my writing
V) I noticed my tone was really soft and not a strong.

About auto- ethnography
First of fall, this is the first time I heard the word auto- ethnography. At the beginning, I was kind of confused about the meaning of auto- ethnography, when I read the “the composing processes of unskilled college writers" by Sondre Perl and other students essays, I finally understand the meaning of auto- ethnography. I realized the auto- ethnography is a research where writer explore his or her own experience on a particular subject and analyze by logically. In the article, “the composing processes of unskilled writers” by Sandra Perl, explains her research on how unskilled and willingness writers are writing their own paper. She used a different method to study this project. At the end of the research, she found unskilled writers have made many common mistakes and these mistakes are not that difficult to learn and correct by themselves. If teachers give them a suitable topic that students had already experienced, they can write better than previous writing. Another thing from her study that an unskilled writer uses bad strategies to analysis their writing also she points the problem of the unskilled writers. Having read this article and other two students sample essay, I got a lot of information about how to write an auto - ethnography. If I get a chance to write this type of essay, first I have to choose a topic that I had already experienced, so that I can research more effectively. Another thing, I have to understand the audience opinion too, so that it is easy for me to get the data. I will make several relative, questions and ask the audience, which helps me to collect the data.

About conference with professor.
Conference with the professor was a wonderful experience for me. At first I was a little bit confused about my first essay. She went over and noticed some of the mistakes; also she gave me very useful suggestions. These suggestions were very helpful. My mistakes were in grammar part also lack of development of ideas. She also noticed me about focusing specifically on a particular topic, and develops the ideas. In the first essay, I wrote everything, but I did not realize I have to focus on specific points. After that, I found focusing and developing specifically on a particular point is a very important thing in writing. Overall it was really good experience and effective for me to correct myself. After finished the conference with the professor, I realized this kind of conference help students to know their mistakes and get knowledge to improve their skill. It was a really good moment for me. I am very optimistic in future writing. I will defiantly apply this knowledge and experience in my writing in the coming days.

Strengths of my Essay.
When I was writing my first essay I really enjoy, also I fell challenging too. My essay topic was “Myths about Writing”. The topic was not hard for me, but it was really confusing. I was troubling some time what I am going to write in my essay. I was thinking many times about context of the essay. After some time later, I was coming to the point and I started to make my first draft. At first I write everything what ever comes to my mind. Then in the second part I go overthrow and collect some good point and start writing. The biggest challenge I felt in my essay was the first introduction sentence. I get several troubles how I am going to start; there were too many choices in my head about introduction sentence such as question, general statement, quotation and so on. At the end, I decided to start as a question .I think my strength of this essay was my introduction part. I believe my introduction part is very strong and its explains how people think about writing. I also provide specific reasons so that anybody can easily get the main idea of my whole essay. There is also strong part of my essay is introduction paragraph. I clearly provide the good thesis statement, so that the audience can easily recognize the context of my essay. In my first essay, I explain myths about writing. In general, many myths in writing, but in my essay, I discuss three common myths. These three myths I explain very widely so that my audience can clearly recognize that how people think about writing. Another strength of my essay is my body paragraphs each paragraph I provide a good example, which support the entire of the essay.
My weakness of my writing is grammar part .I always trouble to use grammar in my writing. When I am writing I always care about grammar part, but still some time I makes some mistake. In the future, I will develop my grammar skill, which helps me to avoid grammatical mistakes in my writing.

First Three Weeks
In these three weeks I learned a lot of about how to become an effective writer. At the beginning I am not interesting about writing, I always scare about writing, now I fell enjoy when I write something. Every week I improve my writing. After three weeks I found become a good writer I have to also become a good reader otherwise it is very hard to effective writer without reading.
I read three very interesting and the important reading writing. The first was “The Phenomenology of Error” by Joseph M Williams, which helps me to identify the grammatical error in my writing. Second, “Helping Students Use Textual Sources Persuasively” by Kantz. This reading about how to write some research paper to use good source and the last reading about “Rhetorical Situation And their Constituents” which helps me to know about the rhetorical situation and how to apply in writing as effective easy so that writing looks more strong and power full.
Overall these three weeks I learned many things about writing, which are really helps for my writing. Now I am going to apply everything, which I learned so for in, my writing .I will try to apply rhetorical reading strategy, careful about grammar. These all will helps my writing is more powerful.
Experience about writing a draft
I fell really enjoy when I was writing the first draft. I do not have worry about the grammar, structure and context, which was really good for me. Before I wrote every thing what comes in my mind. Normally when I write something I always careful the context and grammar, but this time I wrote completely different ways. Compare to these two ways I found the second ways is better for me. I realized writing first draft is a giving some ideas and also give a lot of options to add more effective thought in context. Before I always write one time and finalized the paper, due to that I spent a lot of time to check context and grammar, so my paper have lack of main idea and supporting ideas. Now I like to write anything what comes in my mind, I am worry about spelling, grammar structure main idea, supporting details, and conclusion. In future I will follow the second ways which is writing everything what’s comes on mind, so that I have a lot of time to edit my essays. This helps me my essay will more effective and powerful.
